About Us

SLIDERphotos1Do you think you are one of the only kids with a disability in your school?
Would you like the chance to meet others?

Join us at YO!! We meet each month at the Regional Center for Independent Living (RCIL) at 497 State Street Rochester, NY 14608 … and sometimes at other locations within the Rochester Community!

We are looking for a few great leaders … and that means you!!!

Independent living is a proud history of services and supports for people with disabilities, by people with disabilities. YO! was founded in much the same way. Teens and young adults with disabilities, getting together to provide support and friendship to each other.

YO! meets each month … sometimes we hang out, have informal discussion groups and social opportunities (including Wii/PS3 games and snacks) … while other meetings are activity-centered! Check out our upcoming events page for what’s on the schedule!

If you will need assistance with transportation, email or give Jean Grover a call at (585) 442-6470 to see what we can work out!  If you need an interpreter, or other reasonable accommodations at an upcoming meeting, just let us know!

A great place to meet new people! Join us now, or check us out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube!
